Announcing the release of the latest version of PageCarton Version 1.8.66. While this is a minor update, it still comes with a lot of new features that ensure all websites powered by PageCarton are most secured and at the same time, look great and be better managed. With this new upgrade, your PageCarton sites and apps will run faster, enjoy smoother user experience and consume less server resources.
Some of the recent features upgraded are:
- Each Form Elements now have privacy options
Admin can now set some form elements that are only available to some specific users. Such fields will just be hidden to the users without access. This is awesome for keeping an updated records of the saved forms and for commenting on form entries by admin. - Larger pictures on blog page
We received feedback about the blog page having cropped pictures, so we increased the default height of the displayed cover photos on the default blog page. - Admin can now set access level for post types
Some post types will now be able to be created or managed by specific set of user groups. It is now possible to open up the site for different sets of publishers for different kind of content. - Update default pages on every sanitization
Sometimes, when we have some of the default pages redesigned, old sites may not be able to see these changes. So now, we have default pages autogenerated whenever a new theme is selected or the Pages are sanitized generally. New and old sites will now be served with the recent designs that comes in newer versions of PageCarton
